multidisciplinary team
The project FALCO connects people
Substance use disorder (SUD) as a complex, multifaceted phenomenon with multiple causes requires comprehensive interdisciplinary approaches, which the FALCO project is putting in action.
The FALCO consortium brings together a wide complementary interdisciplinary array spanning from medicine and SUD services via neuroscience to social sciences and humanities (e.g. psychology, music therapy, music and gender studies, social anthropology, health economics).
Notably, music therapy is itself an interdisciplinary discipline, spanning and connecting knowledge from medicine, psychology, neuroscience, musicology, and related disciplines.
